Payment Methods and Options in the Optical Store

Payment Methods and Options in the Optical Store

Invoicing
TISS Optic supports not only retail sales but also sales on invoice with payment terms. Multiple documents can be created for each order such as delivery notes proforma invoices order forms and others. One of these documents is an invoice. An invoice can of course be issued to anyone in the database and the invoiced items do not have to be only stock items from the optical store.

Sales on Deposits or Installments
Custom made aids often require a deposit. For a specific order the paid deposit is recorded and the customer pays the remaining balance upon receiving the finished product. Some optical stores allow customers to pay the deposit or balance in several stages effectively an installment system. Such records are also supported in TISS Optic.
Information about the finished product is automatically sent to the customer via SMS so no phone call from the seller is needed. The customer knows their glasses are ready and the staff saves time by not having to call. Sending SMS depends on the optical stores settings.

Communication with VRP and eKasa
TISS Optic can connect to fiscal cash registers Efox by Elcom or fiscal printers FT4000 and FT5000 by Város. For printing receipts no additional software is needed as TISS Optic sends the printing data automatically to the fiscal device.
Optical stores using older cash registers for example Euro 100 150 handy 500 etc. or virtual cash registers can also work with TISS Optic. The only disadvantage is that the receipt must be entered separately on the cash register apart from TISS Optic. The receipt is printed by entering data into the cash register or VRP and the order card is created in TISS Optic. The disadvantage is duplicated records in both the cash register or VRP and TISS Optic but the advantage is minimal costs since VRP is a free tool and FT5000 or Efox printers are usually more expensive than simple cash register models.
TISS Optic is prepared to support both modes in order to suit every optical store.

Card Payments via Terminal
TISS Optic operates separately from the payment terminal for card payments. The payment amount is registered on the terminal and the customers card is charged. After a successful transaction TISS Optic records that the payment was made and prints the receipt.

The system supports mixed payments meaning the customer can pay a deposit by card part by vouchers and the rest in cash. This breakdown of payments is shown on the receipt in accordance with the law.

Bank Statement Imports
TISS Optic allows importing bank statements electronically which facilitates payment processing. This way it is easy to clearly see the status of payments of issued or received invoices.
