I spent a long time looking for an information system for our optical store. As a computer engineering graduate, I didn't find any of the available solutions suitable, until I discovered TISS, which had been recommended by other opticians as well. This software is like an incredible puzzle; you can build practically anything your optical business might need from it. And everything is online! You can even check daily revenue, product data, orders, or customer information on your phone.
Selling through barcodes is a breeze, it automatically generates claim batches for insurance companies, and now it can even order contact lenses with just one click.

TISS is the Heart of Our Optical Practice

 
At my previous workplaces, I had the opportunity to work with several different optical software systems. None of them, however, were without issues. When my husband and I opened our own optical store with an examination room last year, we had a clear vision of what our new system should look like. Our expectations were high. Because It’s Online, I Can Access It Anytime and Anywhere – Even from My Phone or Tablet

 

We have been using the TISS program at AD Optik for half a year now and we are very satisfied with how it works. Creating a customer order or a refraction card is simple and intuitive. Each employee has their own account, so I can easily track who is selling what and how. The optometrist creates the card directly during the examination, and the data is seamlessly transferred to the order in the store. 
A great feature is the automatic SMS notifications sent to customers when their order is ready. I also appreciate the ability to generate various sales reports, this allows me to track which frames, lenses, and contact lenses are selling well, among other things.
Because the system is online, I can access it anytime and anywhere – even from a phone or tablet and keep track of sales and orders, even when I’m not physically at the store. I would definitely recommend it to any optical practice that wants to keep up with the times.

The Program is Highly Flexible


We discovered TISS based on a recommendation from another optical store and have been using it for several years now. We use it daily to record purchases (inventory tracking), manage orders, customer records, suppliers, etc., which gives us a constant overview of the current status and history of everything. We can print price tags with barcodes, and with a barcode scanner, we can quickly perform year-end inventory. We can also search for specific frames using different categories. For the customer, we can print a Customer Card like complete breakdown of their order including their vision correction details. The program is highly flexible. We can add new modules, customize the layout of the customer card, and adjust the items we want to see on our screen within the Sales, Purchase, and other tabs, all based on our needs. We are very satisfied with the program. It fully meets our current needs. Lastly, we want to highlight the helpfulness, willingness, and quick response of the young team at MacMike whenever we needed assistance. That’s why we can only recommend TISS and the MacMike company to any optical store.
